The expanded fiber arts Studio is now ready for business!

On March 26th and 28th of 2013 we will be hosting

"Friends of Fiber"

gatherings.

The studio will be open for guest between 4pm and 8:00pm on both

Tuesday and Thursday.

If you desire an in depth class in felting or knitting, they will also be

available on those days for a small fee.

There is no charge to just come and enjoy the studio and fellowship with others.

We are now using organic soap to wash all fibers.

Add this to our already very "green" operation and you can be

assured that your fibers will be processed with the lowest posssible

impact on the enviroment!!!!!

Shearing Days
  Every April for sheep

  in the mill's attached shearing shed 

Drop off or ship fiber from your fiber flock, llama, alpaca, sheep, goat or rabbit or send fleeces you have purchased. 

Dog, cat and other exotics can be processed. Custom dying is available using the 40 colors of Jacquard dyes and Dharma house dyes.   

If your group would like to visit the mill for the day, a mill tour or workshop can be arranged, Please call to schedule.

The mill now offers custom hand spinning for batches too small for machine spinning. 

We still do custom felting and a limited amount of special order hand knitting from both roving and hand spun yarn.  

We have a variety of fibers from local producers available for blending.

Purchase roving, batting, felted yardage and some hand spun yarn at the mill for all your felting, knitting and spinning needs.

If you have a special project, stop by, call or email and we will work out how to make it happen.
